Environmental Remote Monitoring Sector

Environmental Remote Monitoring Sector
ARTEL designs and supplies remote monitoring systems involving services, technologies and a great number of applications adopting remote data reading and remote modification of the state of a system including recording of specific variables over various time scales in order to obtain indicators for different purposes.

Remote local managing
via wireless radio, dedicated Telecom cable connections or proprietary via switched telephone circuit, ADSL, GSM, standard industrial RS485, we can remote-manage a variety of plants and monitors.

Geotechnical and environmental monitoring installations
analysis of existing systems, implementation and laying of hi-tech systems for landslide monitoring.

Remote monitoring of water purifying plants and aqueducts
they enable remote reading of data (called monitoring) and involve modification of the state of a remote system through actuators (this operation is called adjustment). It is necessary to set up a supervision and monitoring centre; for complex cases, subsequent centres can be set up and connected for the processing of data coming from field apparatus: sensors, actuators, transducers that are placed on the systems so that they can be accessed by an operator.

On site and helpline software assistance
on site assistance thanks to our specialized personnel within 8 working hours and restart within 16 working hours max. after assistance; continuous telephone service offered by our specialized technicians for assistance with supervision and remote monitoring including analysis of incidents, first level assistance as well as planning any modifications and / or functional extensions on the system.

Sale and installation of RTUs (Remote Terminal Unit Radio Frequency)
RTUs are peripheral processing units included in the RTU_Net category; they can connect via a free radio channel (band 433/868 MHz).

Sale and installation of UC400 units (Control Unit)
The UC400s are peripheral units on supervision and automation systems which meet remote monitoring and control requirements of networks with a great number of peripheral stations.
